1. What Buyer Protection covers
Depending on the order, product, evidence, seller terms, and applicable marketplace policies, Buyer Protection may assist with issues such as:
- An eligible order that has not arrived within a reasonable period after the expected delivery window.
- A product that arrives materially damaged, defective, incomplete, counterfeit, or different from the essential description, where supported by evidence.
- Receipt of the wrong product, quantity, model, size, color, or variation compared with the confirmed order.
- A seller who fails to cooperate with a valid marketplace return, refund, or dispute process.
2. Eligibility
Buyer Protection is not automatic approval of every claim. Eligibility may depend on the order being completed through Economizer LLC, the claim being submitted within the applicable period, the buyer providing accurate information and reasonable evidence, and the account or transaction not showing signs of abuse or prohibited conduct.
3. What buyers should do first
- Review the order status and tracking information where available.
- Check the product listing, variation, seller terms, shipping estimate, and return conditions.
- Contact the seller or Economizer LLC support promptly when a problem is discovered.
- Keep the item, original packaging, labels, accessories, serial numbers, and relevant evidence until the issue is resolved.
- Do not alter, dispose of, repair, or return the product outside the instructed process if doing so would prevent verification.
4. Evidence we may request
- Clear photos or video of the product and problem.
- Photos of outer and inner packaging, courier label, seals, serial numbers, or included items.
- Screenshots of relevant listing details or communications.
- Tracking information or delivery-provider confirmation.
- Any additional information reasonably needed to verify the claim.
5. Possible resolutions
After review, an eligible case may result in one or more of the following, depending on the circumstances: replacement, exchange, return authorization, full refund, partial refund, seller correction, shipment investigation, or claim rejection where the evidence does not support the request.
6. Situations that may not be covered
- Change of mind for an item that is validly non-returnable.
- Normal wear, misuse, accidental damage after delivery, or damage caused by improper handling.
- Issues clearly disclosed in the listing before purchase.
- Transactions completed outside Economizer LLC where the platform cannot verify payment or order details.
- Claims submitted with materially false, altered, incomplete, or misleading evidence.
- Failure to follow reasonable return or investigation instructions where that prevents verification.
7. Seller cooperation
Sellers are expected to respond to eligible order issues, provide accurate fulfillment information, support reasonable investigation, and honor valid marketplace return or refund decisions where applicable. Repeated failure to cooperate may result in seller-account action.
8. Abuse and misuse
Buyer Protection must not be used to obtain products without payment, submit false non-delivery claims, switch returned items, fabricate damage, manipulate chargebacks, or pressure sellers outside legitimate marketplace processes. Suspicious activity may be investigated and may affect claim eligibility or account access.
9. Relationship with other policies
Buyer Protection works together with the Shipping Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Terms & Conditions, seller obligations, and applicable law. Where a mandatory legal right provides greater protection, that right is not removed by this policy.
